James, the owner, is always behind the counter making sure you are served quickly and your food is prepared correctly. He only uses the freshest ingredients. A bakery delivers their fresh bread every morning. 1880 Café has 3-4 soups daily that James makes from scratch. No bottled soups, sauces, or cans in this little joint. I love his turkey chili ... and the daily roast beef Gorgonzola Panini, it's delish!!!”
